We have incorporated a new shopping cart ordering system for your convenience. It will automatically email a confirmation when you place your order. Shopping cart pages are secure. All information is encrypted before transit. We do not store credit card information on computers.
When your order is entered at the order desk, a copy of your invoice will be emailed. This could take 3 to 4 days during peak order time . If you do not receive a PDF copy of your invoice within a few days, please email us.
We offer "Bulk Quantity" price discounts for purchase of 2 or more full pounds of garlic listed as "Bulk". Sum total of full pounds of "Bulk" strains ordered determines discount. If you order one pound of a "bulk" Rocambole and one pound of a "bulk" Silverskin, you receive the 2 to 4 lb discount price on both. If you buy 3 pounds of a "bulk" Porcelain and 2 pounds of a "bulk" Purple Stripe, you received the 5 thru 9 lb discount.The shopping cart we are using is now able to compute these discounts.
Orders and credit card charges are not processed by machine. A thinking, caring human will process your order and will check all discounts. If you have any questions, comments or requests please email and we will try to accomodate.
Limited Quantity strains and orders of less than one full lb of Bulk strains receive LQ prices below.

Whether you order by regular mail or e-mail, please include Name, full address, phone number and e-mail address in case we need to contact you. Rest assured we never sell, rent or give our customer information to anyone.
Payment is due when you place your order. We accept checks, money orders, and MasterCard or VISA. We do ask that you make payment when you place your order. This reserves our largest bulbs for early orders, increases your chances of getting that special strain you want, and allows us to pay our laborers who work hard throughout the year.
Minimum order of any strain is 1/4 lb. We do place maximum limits on many strains to assure that most of our customers can try the exotic variety of their choice. Most garlics are shipped as whole bulbs. Most bulbs are 2" minimum diameter. However, if you order late in the season (esp. after Sept 1) you may receive 1 5/8" bulbs. Strains with large clove size will produce fine, healthy plants from 1 5/8" bulbs.
We cannot absolutely guarantee our garlic will perform well for you. There are too many variables in soil preparation and care, time of planting,climate, etc. We do not recommend our garlic for extreme southern latitudes below approximately 32 degrees north.
We can tell you that we receive a lot of comments from happy customers impressed with the quality of our handcrafted bulbs. However, if you are unhappy with our bulb size or quality we will gladly refund your money on the simple condition that you return the garlic to us within 30 days of our shipment.
Please check preferred ship date. Note that these are target dates. Actual ship date will vary. Keep in mind that Midwest shipments may take 5 or more work days to arrive. East coast shipments may take 8 work days. You should pick a ship date 3 to 4 weeks before you plan to begin planting.
Shipping costs have risen steadily over the past year and a half. We do have to pass this increase along. Cost of regular UPS shipping is:
20% of total for orders under $100
15% of total for orders $100 to $200
10% of total for orders over $200
Minimum shipping is $6.40 except for books.
Shipping for one book is $2; shipping for 2 books is $3.
Shipping costs on heavy, low cost products, such as food garlic, fertilizer and green manure seed may be more than percentage quoted above. If so, we will notify you before shipment.
